Transferring Calls

You can send an active call to another station or to an outside destination.  You can screen the transfer with the receiving phone (Screened Call Transfer) or complete the transfer without screen (Unscreened Call Transfer).  Transferred calls, internal or external, are placed in Transfer Hold. These calls will receive Music-on-Hold and will recall if not answered in a timely manner.  If an Unscreened Transfer call encounters an error, it may immediately recall at your station.

 

To Transfer to an Internal Extenstion:

1) Press the [TRANS/PGM] button or the TRANS soft-key on the LCD Display.

2) Call the transfer party

3) Unscreened Call Transfer- simply hang-up

           or

   Screened Call Transfer- When call is answered, announce the call and hang-up

 

Transfer to an Outside Location

1) Press the [TRANS/PGM] button or the TRANS soft-key on the LCD Display.

2) Call the transfer party by dialing 9 + phone number.

3) Unscreened Call Transfer- simply hang-up

            or

    Screened Call Transfer- When call is answered, announce the call and hang-up

 

Transfer directly to Voice-Mail

1) Press the [TRANS/PGM] button or the TRANS soft-key on the LCD Display.

2) Press the [MSG] button followed by the 3-digit extension number, or the appropriate Flex Button.

3) Hang Up
